The Problem
Parents and home security users lack a simple, real-time monitoring solution that can stream and log surveillance events without requiring expensive proprietary hardware or cloud subscriptions.
The Solution
Built an event-driven surveillance control hub using Socket.io for real-time event streaming, a TypeScript Express backend for device event ingestion, and a React dashboard for live monitoring and historical event review.
My Role
Full-stack developer — architected the real-time event system, built the WebSocket server, and designed the monitoring dashboard.
